The Char Dham is a set of four pilgrimage sites in India. The holy Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage is undertaken annually by pilgrims and devotees who make their way to the holy portals of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri situated on the Garhwal hills of Uttarakhand. These ancient temples are dedicated to various gods and goddesses which grace the holy banks of rivers that go on to form the iconic and the holiest river in India i.e. river Ganga.
